Acura introduced the ILX concept last month at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Today, the 2013 Acura ILX production version made its first debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.

The Acura ILX is an all-new model that is positioned as the gateway into the Acura brand. As a five-passenger luxury sedan, the ILX combines compact proportions with a spacious passenger interior and ample cargo space.
The 2013 ILX will be available with three choices of engine type – 2.0-liter, 2,4-liter and hybrid. The Acura ILX Hybrid will be the first ever hybrid from Acura.
The 2013 Acura ILX with 2.0-liter engine produces 150 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 140 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm and when paring with a 5-speed AT, the ILX 2.0L has an estimated city/highway fuel economy of 24/32 mpg.
The 2013 Acura ILX with 2.4-liter engine generates 201 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 170 lb-ft torque at 4,300 rpm. Teamed with 6-speed MT, the ILX 2.4L has an estimated city/highway fuel economy of 20/29 mpg.
The Acura ILX Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor. The ILX 1.5L Hybrid has an estimated city/highway fuel economy rating of 35/38 mpg.
The release date for the 2013 ILX is expected to be in the Spring 2012.
