Toyota officially unveiled the all-new 2014 Toyota Highlander today at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The third-generation 2014 Highlander features an all-new exterior design and a new interior with increased cargo volume along with three-row seating for seven or eight.
With an all-new dynamic, sleek and bold exterior design, the all-new Toyota Highlander is about three inches longer and one-half inch wider than the outgoing Highlander. Having a wheelbase of 109.8-inch and ground clearance of 8.0-inch, the all-new 2014 Highlander is measured 191.1-inch in length, 75.8-inch in width, and 88.1-inch in height.
In addition to the Premium Interior Design, the 2014 Highlander offers increased roominess for up to eight passengers. Its third-row’s width has increased by 4.3 inches and its rear cargo area behind the third-row also has increased by up to 34 percent.
The new 2014 Toyota Highlander is available in three powertrains – a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine (available in FWD), a 3.5-liter V6 engine (available in FWD and AWD), and Hybrid Synergy Drive with 3.5-liter V6 Engine and Electric Motor (available in AWD).
Equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension and double-wishbone rear suspension, the 2014 Toyota Highlander rides on 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch alloys also available).
